SFARs are specialized U.S. Army units with the core mission to conduct, advise, support liaise and assess operations with allied and partner nations.
A public call to duty ceremony will be held on Aug. 3, 2024, at noon at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus. The deploying members will "support strategic partnerships, build partner capacity, and enhance partner capability." This will be the sixth and seventh deployment for Ohio Army National Guard engineer advisor teams within the past three years, the Ohio National Guard said.
