Police said more than 20 people were struck after an SUV struck a parade on the outskirts of Milwaukee.

A speeding SUV broke several barricades and plowed into a Christmas Parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin on Sunday evening, killing several people and injuring others in a horrifying incident that was captured by the city’s livestream of the parade and phone footage recorded by several onlookers.

The police said they have a person of interest in custody along with the speeding vehicle that caused the tragedy. The city’s Fire Chief Steven Howard said 11 adults and 12 children were injured and rushed to a nearby hospital by his department. A spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee announced that a Catholic priest, several parishioners and students of the Waukesha Catholic school were among those injured.
