Intelligent, self-compacting, solar-powered - these are bins with a difference 😎 🚮
New solar-powered super-bins have been installed in Lincoln's High Street and Cornhill areas in a bid to make the city cleaner and greener.
This means they will require emptying less often, won't overflow and will prevent rubbish from being blown away. "These bins can hold eight times more than traditional bins and once waste goes in, it can’t be taken out unless the bin is being emptied by a member of staff. In addition to their practical benefits, these bins also contribute to reducing pollution and the city's carbon footprint.
