With all three and five-door models now out, BMW has finalised the new Mini Cooper range by officially unveiling the drop-top Cabriolet.

Previously known as the Mini Cabriolet, the newcomer joins the three-door and five-door by adopting the Cooper name as part of the model’s moniker rather than a trim level designation, with motivation coming from a pair combustion engines without electrification.

Aside from the same steering wheel as the fixed-roof Coopers and standard Head-Up Display, the Cabriolet does feature a wind deflector behind the rear seats as well as different materials and fabrics depending on the selected trim grade.Standard specification is otherwise identical to its siblings as is the choice of powertrains which, for now, emits electrification either in a mild-hybrid or full electric capacity as mentioned.
