It's going to be warm and humid across Southern California today. Some areas may even see some thunderstorms.
LOS ANGELES -- With more humid conditions in the region, Southern California could see some thunderstorms on Monday.
A tropical storm, Estelle, has formed in the Pacific Ocean off the southern Mexico coast. It is likely to bring strong waves for surfers off the Southern California coast later in the week. On Monday, Los Angeles and Orange counties will see about a 20% chance of thunderstorms and a high of 82 degrees. The area should see temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s for most of the week.
The valleys and Inland Empire will also see a 20% chance of thunderstorms, with a high reaching 96 degrees. Temperatures should stay in the mid-90s most of the week.Mountains could see a 50% chance of thunderstorms with a high of 86. Deserts will be hot and humid, with a 20% chance of thunderstorms and a high of 103 degrees on Monday.
