Soap star brothers Adam and Ryan Thomas are in talks to become the presenters of a new weekend game show for ITV, which has been advertised as Taskmaster meets Squid Game. The Manchester born siblings have become household names thanks to their roles in Emmerdale and Coronation Street and have also appeared in reality shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother.

ITV bosses believe the Thomas' brothers cheeky banter and strong bond will appeal to fans as the duo have been dubbed as the next Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly. Examples of the light hearted games include trying to find a dummy hidden in a vat of jelly or putting on a frozen T-shirt. She added: “As the contestants compete they also form tight bonds and as they get to know each other, we get to see who plays well, who buckles under the pressure and who has lasting power.”
He dated his Corrie co-star Tina O'Brien for six years from 2003 and the pair share their daughter together.
