Western University’s sudden dropping of its vaccine mandate has left students wondering, why now?

Western said the deadline to comply with the mandate was Oct. 1, but it was later pushed back to Jan. 9. Nearly all other universities and colleges did not require students and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
