The Toronto District School Boards and its Catholic counterpart are saying buses are running and in-person learning is open10 to 15 cm of accumulating snow starting Wednesday afternoonEnvironment Canada issued a special weather statement for Toronto advising of significant snowfall late Wednesday into Thursday.

Some school boards in the GTA, including Toronto’s, are going forward with normal operations for classes and school transportation this morning, but warn that delays and closures are possible in the afternoon. According to the Student Transportation of Peel Region Twitter page, all buses are running in Zones 1-3 in the region this morning.Niagara’s southern communities may get a break this week, after being hit hard by a late-December blizzard.
