Snowmobile collision leaves two people injured

THUNDER BAY — Two people suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a snowmobile collision Monday night in the Murillo area.

Thunder Bay police said the machine the pair was riding on struck a tree on private property near Calvert Road. Police, Oliver Paipoonge Fire and Emergency Services, and Superior North EMS all responded to the incident.The Thunder Bay Police Traffic Unit is now involved in the ongoing investigation.
