SNOW SCENE: March is magic at Revelstoke

The days are getting longer and the temperatures are rising, but that’s typically accompanied by lots of snow at the B.C. resort.

“It was a bit of a sleeper winter for us, but we’ve definitely made up for some lost ground in the last couple weeks,” said Carly Moran, media relations specialist at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, on Tuesday. “We had a nice storm roll in two days ago that gave us a surprise 25 cm and then we got even more last night. March has been good to us so far.

And it’s equally unsurprising that the snow gods have decided to bless the resort with a tonne of the fluffy white stuff in March.Article content With Revelstoke set to close for the summer on April 16, there’s still a lot of time for skiers and snowboarders to take advantage of all the snow that Mother Nature’s provided and get in as many turns as possible.Of course, a big part of what makes the season so special is the vibes. There’s a little more time for hanging out. There’s no rush to get off the mountain and back home.
