Parts have had a scattering
weather warning had been in place for snow and ice in the East Midlands from Monday evening to Tuesday morning.
Residents in Bingham and Mapperley saw some light snowfall on Tuesday afternoon, whilst other parts of the county are still waiting. The predicted snow showers are expected to hit mainly the northern and eastern areas of the UK, but it will remain cold across the country with freezing conditions overnight.until 6pm Friday, March 10. This heavy snow could cause significant disruption, and the warning is in place for most of the UK.
