For those playing the MW3 beta from when it kicked off, you may have run into a few people who were nearly impossible to kill. Don’t worry, it’s not about your aim, it’s more about the fact that for a day or so, there was a slight ‘glitch’ in the game that made people nigh-on invincible. The ‘glitch’ in question was Battle Rage, which – up and until recently, acted as a sort of unlimited Quick Fix perk. This meant that every time you would take damage, it would kick in an regenerate your health.
For one, the max duration has been dropped from 10 seconds to six seconds, while kills will now no longer increase the effect duration. A screenshot of the Sledgehammer Games’ ‘God Mode’ glitch in the MW3 beta. Elsewhere, incoming damage will now interupt health regeneration, while there has also been a reduction of health regeneration speed. Still, it hasn’t stopped a load of MW3 players calling out this ‘glitch’ on social media. Personally, this is what betas are all about… balancing.
