Skeem Saam, a popular South African soap opera, will introduce several new characters in January 2025, including a criminal mastermind played by legendary actor Ronald Mkwanazi. The show also sees the return of Cedric Fourie as Lehasa Maphosa, currently imprisoned. Other notable additions include rising star Thabo Gwadiso as a prison guard and Thulani Kunene and Jerome du Plooy as criminals.

Popular actors Thulani Kunene and Jerome du Plooy will play criminals Pavarotti and Craig Klassen respectively in the soapie.The publication also reveals that actor Malibongwe Mdwaba will make his debut as a criminal, Shongwe on Wednesday, 8 January 2025.
