Former SuperSport United man Siyabonga Nhlapo is linked with a possible move to under-siege Richards Bay United. The 34-year-old defender appeared on the verge of joining newly-promoted Cape Town Spurs, but the Siya crew was informed that the technical team made a surprise U-turn when it looked certain that he would sign.

However, this publication has learnt that when Kaitano Tembo was appointed the Natal Rich Boyz head coach, the player approached him expressing his interest in joining them. And because the Zimbabwean-born mentor has previously worked with Nhlapo, he invited him to have a look and seems to have been impressed enough to recommend to club boss Jomo Biyela to add him to their roster.Get 14 days free to read all the stories on SNL24.com.
