Lenny Scott was shot by a gunman who left the scene on an e-bike
The 33-year-old dad was shot outside a gym on Peel Road in Skelmersdale on Thursday, February 8. Emergency services attended the scene and found Lenny, who was from Prescot, with serious gunshot wounds. He died later in hospital.
Police today confirmed a 30-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested last week on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and has now been bailed.READ MORE: Couple selling ex-council house for a £1 after buyers struggled to get mortgagePolice officers investigating Lenny’s murder also arrested three people on suspicion of drugs and money laundering offences, though these arrests were not directly related to the murder investigation.
On Tuesday, March 12, a 34-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and money laundering and was released under investigation. A man aged 54 and a woman aged 51, both from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and later released under investigation.
