ICYMI: Six youth charged in swarming attack that left two employees injured in southwest Calgary yyc
The Calgary Police Service said in a news release Thursday that a group of young people were asked to leave the Shoppers Drug Mart in the 800 Block of 17th Avenue around 4 p.m. on Nov. 1, 2022, after causing a disturbance. The six charged individuals have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in February. Police said a seventh suspect, an 18-year-old man, has been identified and police are currently searching for his whereabouts. An eighth person believed to be involved has not been identified. Police said they believe the last suspect is connected to the seventh individual who has not yet been located. He is described as being average height with a slim build. He was wearing a dark winter jacket with a black fur-lined hood, black sweatpants and white running shoes.
