A mum has claimed her six-year-old daughter had an allergic reaction on the way home after eating at a pub
The mum of a six-year-old girl who had to be taken to hospital with an allergic reaction after eating at a pub claims she was told she would only be able to find out how the incident happened if she ‘went to a solicitor’.
After eating their food, the group began to make their way back home when Renesmae started having a headache and feeling nauseous. During the 15-minute car ride, Sheridan said her daughter ‘cried all the way home’ because of how uncomfortable she was now feeling. A doctor at the walk-in told Sheridan to take Renesmae to the hospital, where she stayed overnight. In the morning, Sheridan said she was surprised to see that the pub hadn’t attempted to contact her any further about the incident.
“When I called them, a woman told me they wouldn't be able to let me know the outcome of their investigation,” Sheridan said. “She said that I could find out answers further down the line through a solicitor. “My daughter is only six years old and she’s now scared to eat out as well because of what’s happened.
