Leeds United can still add players to their squad through the free agency market
As is always the case each summer, the closure of the transfer window doesn't mean that has to be the end of any business Leeds United do as the club look to rebuild the squad under Daniel Farke. While football clubs can no longer sign any players from fellow clubs across the continent, you can still sign players who are no longer under contract anywhere.
We've taken a look at some of the players who are up for grabs currently, even adding a few who may be out of reach but are worth noting anyway. A player who boasts a strike return of 56 goals in 146 Championship appearances, he's surely going to be on the radar of a number of Championship teams this week.Another player with the sort of experience and goalscoring record that will attract attention is former Rangers star Morelos. The 27-year-old looked set to join Fenerbahce before the window close, but that deal failed to materialise. Morelos scored 124 times for the Glasgow giants.
