Sister of missing Nicola Bulley says there is 'no evidence' she fell into river

Lancashire Police revealed on Friday it was their “working hypothesis” that Ms Bulley, 45, accidentally entered the water and was unable to get out.

Despite extensive efforts to search the water including underwater divers, cameras, drones, boats and waders, Ms Bulley has not been found.Last night, Ms Bulley’s sister Louise Cunningham called on supporters not to give up hope. It comes as the search for Ms Bulley enters its ninth day on Saturday with police, fire and rescue and the Coastguard services all involved.

Ms Riley said the force believes she entered the water at some point in that ten-minute window, adding there is a “steep drop” down an embankment near to the bench where Ms Bulley was last seen.
