Elizabeth Koch says Bavaria's Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where the Scotland national team is based, is perfect for a Rod Stewart concert.
The Mayor of the town where Steve Clarke 's men are staying for Euro 2024 has said they will "take care of the guys". And Sir Rod Stewart fanatic Elizabeth Koch has invited him to perform in Bavaria's Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
She said: "Dear Sir Rod Stewart, thanks a lot for your video message. Have a look at the home far away from home for the Tartan Army. Be sure, we take care of the guys. Her message came after Sir Rod had sent her one last week to thank her for her town's hospitality. He said: "Sissy Koch, I hear your a big fan and the Scottish team are staying in your village during the Euros.
"Believe it or not I'm touring Germany. Tomorrow night I'm in Leipzig of all places. But look after the guys, make sure they go to bed early and don't drink too much booze. Hopefully I'll see you one day, thank you bye. " Her favourite tracks are his 1967 hit First Cut Is The Deepest and the crooner's version of Waltzing Matilda. She previously said: "I told Steve Clarke and the other members of the Scotland party that I was a big Rod Stewart fan.
