Sinn Féin MPs do not need to declare party wages on their register of interests, the parliamentary standards watchdog has said.

However, none of the seven MPs include details of their party wages in their register of financial interests. "He has confirmed that the current advice - that these payments do not require registration - is correct." "If the commissioner is of the view that they are not required to declare their income from the party under the current rules then they are clearly deficient and there is an urgent need for them to be revised.
