and the National Trades Union Congress have signed a five-year memorandum of understanding that aims to provide improved connection to the latter’s 1.3 million members, especially youths and professionals, managers and executives .
“Through this partnership, Singtel will be able to extend its support to NTUC members so they can be armed with the critical knowledge and skills to succeed amidst a rapidly evolving digital landscape,” Singtel Singapore CEO Ng Tian Chong. Also part of the deal is Singtel providing free connectivity for up to 6,000 members who are part of NTUC’s Care and Share umbrella. Aside from this, the telecommunications company will give 50,000 retrenched members and young seniors with subsidised mobile, broadband and TV subscription plans, along with other value-added services.
