Enterprise Singapore had forecast in its quarterly trade review on Aug 13 that growth in key exports will come in at 4 per cent to 5 per cent in 2024, the lower half of its previous estimate of 4 per cent to 6 per cent.
Non-electronic shipments expanded by 15.5 per cent in July, after the 8.6 per cent decline in June. Non-monetary gold, petrochemicals and specialised machinery contributed the most to the growth.
