The Irish music legend, who tragically died two weeks ago at the age of 56, will be laid to rest today
The funeral of Irish music icon Sinead O'Connor takes place this morning, with fans invited to pay tribute to the Nothing Compares 2 U songstress along the Bray seafront, close to where she used to live.emains released to her family last weekThe family has announced that from 10.30am today, Tuesday 8 August, a funeral cortege will proceed along the Bray seafront and fans are invited to congregate here to pay tribute to the music great.
A family statement reads: "Sinead loved living in Bray and the people in it. With this procession, her family would like to acknowledge the outpouring of love for her from the people of"The Gardai have asked that people gather, if they would like to say a last goodbye to Sinéad from 10.30am on Tuesday morning along the Bray Seafront."
Sinead is survived by three kids — Jake, Roisin and Yeshua. In January 2022, her 17-year-old son Shane took his own life.
