A new Fort Worth manufacturing plant by German technology company Siemens will create 700 new jobs in the city and add $2.6 million in new taxes.
The company says its Fort Worth investment will create 700 jobs for the region and be fully operational by 2025.
The German-based technology company said the plant at 7200 Harris Legacy Drive at Carter Park East will manufacture low-voltage switchgear and power units, creating 700 new Fort Worth jobs in the process. Production at the plant will start in 2024 and should be fully operational by 2025, the company said in a press release.Siemens is also building a $220 million rail manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina.
