Sicamous, B.C. residents argue health facility site should be a park
WATCH: Planning is well underway for a new health facility in Sicamous, after the community was awarded nearly $6-million for the project two years ago.
Officials hope it will help the community attract more doctors as many residents are currently traveling out of town for medical care. But the proposed location is proving controversial with some locals arguing the land should be turned into a park.
