As legislative attacks increase on LGBTQ Americans in states across the country, Showtime is partnering with civil rights group Human Rights Campaign for the fourth year in a row on its Queer to Stay initiative: 'Uplifting safe spaces has never been more important.'

For the fourth year in a row, Showtime has partnered with the civil rights group Thefor its Queer to Stay initiative, which will give 25 new grants to small businesses around the country with LGBTQ owners, with a total of $250,000 in contributions.

The program — which has already supported 55 queer-owned companies since its inception in 2020 — is designed, per Showtime, to “uplift and preserve small businesses that serve the LGBTQ+ community; particularly businesses that are owned by or empower LGBTQ+ people of color, women and the transgender community.”
