Valley rain showers and light mountain snow will become widespread today. Precipitation will begin in Northern and Western Utah, and then fill in across the east this afternoon and evening. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible this afternoon and evening, mainly over the mountains and across SE Utah.

It'll get cold behind the storm tonight, but high pressure building tomorrow will bring warmer, dry weather heading into the weekend.Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of showers in the morning.
