The two filmmakers almost jumped out of bed when they heard the news of their nomination.

“We are absolutely blown away by this fabulous news and, like our sailor, we’re flying high,” Forbis and Tilby said in a news release Tuesday. “The National Film Board of Canada has our endless gratitude for their unwavering support and for making films like ours possible in the first place.” Suzanne Guèvremont, chairperson of the NFB of Canada, congratulated the Calgary-based duo and their crew on the nomination, marking the 77th nomination for an NFB film.
