Police said they learned that the man who allegedly assaulted the woman had a gun and activated an emergency response team to respond. Armed officers in SWAT gear and armored vehicles assembled in the area, and police had several nearby homes evacuated.After around 2½ hours, officers were able to negotiate with the man and took him into custody, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment, police said. No other injuries were reported, said police, who continue to investigate. Charges against the man have not been filed, pending his arraignment, police said.after allegedly shooting three people to death and assaulting at least one other person at two homes in Falls Township, Bucks County.
