Sheldon MacLeod's not normally a nervous flyer, but his Monday night landing in Halifax last night was a bit unnerving. Not because of turbulence or the aircraft, but because of an announcement the pilot made about a half hour outside of Halifax.

He turned on the inflight intercom system to tell us about the situation on the ground at YHZ. It was the way it was delivered that had me raising an eyebrow and looking toward my wife.
