This is the first Mother's Day the actress will be celebrating with a little one of her own — daughter Atlas, who was born in October. Despite the coronavirus pandemic impacting celebrations for many, Mitchell is still excited to soak in the emotions of the day.
"This time last year I was pregnant and imagining what Mother's Day would be like, and how we would honor the day," she tells PEOPLE."Naturally, I never could have imagined that we would be sheltering at home, but we will make the most of it with breakfast in bed and all of the baby snuggles."
