SINGAPORE: Shanti Pereira gets in the 2024 Paris Olympics 200m event, making her the first Singaporean to make the feat.
Her achievement granted her a spot in the 200m semi-finals scheduled for August 24 at the competition in Hungary. However, she was unable to secure a position in the finals. Shericka Jackson of Jamaica, the reigning 200m world champion, led with the fastest time of 22.00 seconds, followed by American Sha’Carri Richardson with 22.20 seconds.
