Eskom has urged customers to be patient as large parts of KwaZulu-Natal don’t have electricity due to inclement weather.Eskom says they are working hard to restore electricity in parts of KwaZulu-Natal due to inclement weather conditions.
The power utility said its technical teams are making progress with restoring supply to affected customers, however, electricity users in the following areas are affected:Eskom’s Nozipho Mpanza assured electricity users that they are attending to outages with the required urgency but request them to be patient while they work through the long list of faults.
“In addition, the public is urged to stay clear of all fallen or damaged infrastructure and to report dangerous situations to their local authorities or to Eskom by using the MyEskom app, Alfred the Chatbot, USSD platform and the Eskom contact centre,” Mpanza said.The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms in the southern and western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
