The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms in parts of Gauteng, North West, Free State and Mpumalanga on Friday. ⛈ weather weatherforecast

Partly cloudy in the east in the morning, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot in places in the West Coast District interior. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly along the south coast, otherwise southerly to south-easterly, but near gale along the south-west coast in the afternoon and evening. The expected UVB sunburn index: ExtremeCloudy and cool but warm in the north, becoming fine by afternoon.
