Storms producing large hail hit parts of Dallas County on Memorial Day, prompting warnings in the Dallas-area Monday afternoon. Shortly after 4:30 p.m., the National Weather Service in Fort Worth issued a severe thunderstorm warning, set to expire at 5 p.m., for northern parts of Dallas County. The agency issued a similar warning for southern Dallas County until 5:30 p.m., the NWS Fort WorthA severe thunderstorm watch was in effect in other parts of North Texas, including in Denton, Collin and Tarrant counties, according to the NWS Fort Worth website.At about 4 p.m.
