The operation has been dubbed 'Line of Duty'
Seven shops across Lancashire have been caught selling cigarettes, alcohol, and knives to underage children.
It was discovered that seven of these shops sold to under-18 test purchasers during the two weeks of action in October. Follow up action will be carried out by the police and trading stands officers and could result in prosecution.County Councillor Michael Green, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, believes that a one-in-five failure rate is 'just not good enough.'
