Seven-hour electricity maintenance to affect parts of Cape Town

The City of Cape Town will carry out necessary electricity maintenance over four days. Here are the affected areas.

The City of Cape Town said if all goes well the necessary electricity supply interruptions for essential infrastructure maintenance will be carried out from 8:30 to 16:00 on the aforementioned dates.The City of Cape Town said electricity supply could be restored at any time, and urged customers to treat all electrical installations as live for the entire interruption duration.

“Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution and to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on.
