A serious collision led to the closure of part of the A52 on Tuesday afternoon . The road was closed in both directions nearNational Highways East Midlands said the closure was between the A1 Barrowby and A46 Saxondale. Lincolnshire Police and other emergency services were in attendance.According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the incident involved an overturned vehicle which led to queueing traffic.
At the time, a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "The A52 at Barrowby Road, Grantham, is closed in both directions following a single-vehicle collision. It is not known at this stage for how long the road will be shut. We will provide updates when more information is available."
