Lead the security engineering agenda for a global cloud platform, driving impactful changes in vulnerability management , SIEM , and endpoint protection. This role requires a composed, hands-on security engineer who enjoys investigating root causes, enhancing security controls, and effectively communicating risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You should be comfortable working independently, collaborating with engineering and architecture teams, and take pride in building robust, auditable security practices.\You will be responsible for leading vulnerability scanning and analysis across customer-facing environments, collaborating with engineering teams to remediate identified issues and integrate security testing within DevOps workflows. Additionally, you will support and continuously improve SIEM monitoring, configuring and tuning rules to generate meaningful alerts, while bolstering endpoint security through Microsoft Intune and centralized monitoring. A crucial aspect of this role involves active participation in ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 alignment, providing support for audits through evidence preparation, developing dashboards, defining and tracking KPIs, and establishing reusable security patterns. As a senior member of the team, you will provide backup support for network security (Palo Alto), assist with incident response and forensics, and be prepared to step in for the Security Manager when needed. Excellent English communication skills are a must, and certifications such as CISSP/CISM, along with exposure to privacy frameworks, PAM solutions, container technologies, or regulated industries, would be highly advantageous.
