We are searching for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with proven Tech Lead abilities to join our innovative team on a 12-month hybrid contract located in Bryanston, Johannesburg. This presents a remarkable opportunity to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications across both web and mobile platforms.
You will be responsible for leading a team of four developers, ranging in experience from intermediate to senior level, and playing a critical role in shaping our technical direction and driving engineering excellence.In this position, you will spearhead end-to-end technical leadership, mentor a skilled development team, and architect solutions that will define the future of our product portfolio. Your expertise will be instrumental in seamlessly blending modern frontend and backend technologies with cloud infrastructure to deliver exceptional, user-centric experiences. Specifically, you will:* Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging the latest AWS services and adhering to best practices in security, scalability, and automation.* Lead your team in delivering high-quality software, championing best practices in code quality, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development processes.* Drive continuous innovation by integrating AI-assisted development tools and automation to enhance both team productivity and software reliability.* Ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems to deliver exceptional, consistent user experiences across web and mobile platforms.* Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to effectively translate business goals into practical technical solutions
