We are looking for experienced Senior Java Developers with strong expertise in enterprise-grade API development. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services for mission-critical systems, working onsite with our Cape Town-based team.
Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using Java . Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.Apply best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.Mentor and support junior developers where required.Strong expertise in Spring / Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and REST API design. Experience in microservices architecture, containerization , and cloud platforms .Familiarity with DevOps tools .Experience with API Gateway, authentication protocols .Exposure to enterprise-scale financial services / telecom / retail domains is a plus.
