The Kaizer Chiefs match could provide Sekhukhune United an opportunity to get closer to sneaking into the top eight, which is what the club’s head coach MacDonald Makhubedu and his team are eyeing going into this weekend’s match.
Having achieved their target of reaching 32 points which was to ensure the team’s safety in their first season in the topflight, Babina Noko are aiming for an impressive finish in their remaining two fixtures starting on Saturday at the Emirates Airline Park against Amakhosi.Makhubedu is counting on home ground advantage to work in their favour against Chiefs to produce the desired results.
“It will be a good game and for the fact that we are at home it gives us an advantage. We have been doing well, unfortunately we haven’t been scoring goals, but we have been playing well, very solid. We miss a lot of chances, but I think we will convert some of them this week and we are ready for this game. it will be a good game and we are not going to let our supporters down,” said Makhubedu, speaking through the club’s media department.
