With another season on loan completed for Nyiko Mobbie, Sundowns will decide on the defender’s future in the coming weeks. The 27-year-old played in 22 matches for Sekhukhune United and was one of the influential players in helping the club to retain their topflight status in their first season in the league.
The Siya crew has been reliably informed that Babina Noko are keen to hold on to the right-back, even if on another season-long loan deal.“Nyiko Mobbie did well for Sekhukhune United this season and the coaches have been impressed with him. The club would like to have him back from Sundowns again, even if on another loan and talks are ongoing,” said the source.
The Malamulele-born player is currently with Bafana Bafana and preparing for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco which is scheduled for tomorrow.
