The first ever SEESA Jozi Triathlon will be hosted at Ebotse Golf and Country Estate on October 21.
The event will start at 08:00 with a full programme on offer for athletes of all ages and fitness levels.
“We also have ambitions to host the national championships and if all goes well, bring a World Cup Triathlon back to the shores of South Africa. First we must start small and this race is the launch pad for bigger and better to come,” said organiser Glen Gore.Gore said the target market is youngsters, with a schools section similar to the one they had in the Energade Series.
“We are also after the “not-so-fit” weekend warrior.
