The SA Weather Service also issued a warning that the heavy downpours may see some areas receiving more than 200mm of rainfall over a 24-hour period. This may lead to localised flooding of settlements and roads, damage to houses, and the displacement of communities over the extreme south-eastern parts of the province on Monday. South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
