Seedat Opens Up On Failed Chiefs Move
Ebrahim Seedat for TS Galaxy celebrating a goal during the DStv Premiership 2022/23 match between TS Galaxy and SuperSport United at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on 14 August 2022 Ebrahim Seedat has opened up about his failed move to Kaizer Chiefs last season, as he looks to get back to his best following a lengthy injury layoff.
Now, back to full fitness and on the verge of a move to Cape Town Spurs, Seedat has opened up on the failed Chiefs move and how he managed to move on from disappointment. "Obviously it was a bitter pill to swallow, but you know I’m a positive guy, I’m a family man. It was a little tough because that move would have been a good move for me and my career, but this is God's plan this is what God wanted me to face and this is basically my trial that I had to go through on this earth," he told the Siya crew in an exclusive interview.
"So, I took it as a blessing because at the end of the day, I've learned so much in these past 10 months now, how to appreciate the game even more, how to work hard even more because of what I've been through and everyone goes through different phases in their careers.
"So I just accepted it as quick as possible. Yes, I did cry obviously for about two hours when it happened because I just came from my MCL, I was working very hard everyone could see at the beginning of that season, so yeah. I mean these things happen and I just took it like it came and I just kept on working hard basically. So, that's what kept me going.
