A Friday challenge for you:
Children will be tested in maths, English, grammar, punctuation, spelling and reading when the Year 6 SATS exams take place in schools across the country this May.
As a result, we have looked at one arithmetic paper, where there were 36 questions to complete in 30 minutes, Birmingham Live reports. In this test, long division and long multiplication questions were worth two marks each and all other questions were worth one mark each.The KS2 SATs run from Tuesday, May 9, to Friday, May 12, 2023. These children will be the first group to take them after the tests were suspended during the Covid pandemic.
