The Cinema Foundation and movie theaters will hold National Cinema Day on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.
For that one day, all movies at all showtimes will cost just $4 at more than 3,000 participating theaters nationwide.
Regal said in a news release that National Cinema Day “celebrates the power of movies to bring us all together by encouraging guests of all ages to revisit the incomparable theatrical experience.” Regal also said it will expand its schedule on Sunday, Aug. 27, by adding as many screenings as possible of films including “Grant Turismo: Based on a True Story,” “Barbie,” “Oppenheimer,” “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” “Elemental” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”“The first edition of National Cinema Day recorded over 8.
