Longtime NLL player Cam Sedgwick has joined the Saskatchewan Rush as their offensive coach.

Sedgwick, recently hired as Saskatchewan’s new offensive coach, coached amateur lacrosse after his National Lacrosse League career ended in 2012, and now he’s back in the pros for the first time in more than a decade.

“It’s one of those games you become almost addicted to — watching games, coaching games, playing in games. It’s hard to say what, in particular, drives you to it. Maybe it’s camaraderie. But it’s just something that gets in your blood, and you can’t get away from it.” Sedgwick has been working as an offensive coach with the Miners Lacrosse Club in Alberta for the last four years. His day job is selling medical supplies.
